Hair and Makeup for V-Day School Dance??

I've already asked this question, but i wanted to get a few more responses...I am going to a dance this thursday, and I'm going to wear a light blue halter top dress, that goes just below my knees..I'm pretty short, and I have brown staright hair that goes just below my shoulders, and brown eyes. How should I do my hair and makeup? thanks for ur time!! :)Hair and Makeup for V-Day School Dance??
Using the make-up matcher over at ivillage.com for your colouring I got this:

HAIR - Brown/black

With such strong colouring, you can choose from a palette of bold, vibrant shades - try smoky, kohl-lined eyes teamed with red lips for a classically glamorous look. Alternatively, try charcoal, rich brown, orange, gold or bronze on the eyes, teamed with lashings of black

EYES - Dark brown

Dark brown eyes can carry off most shades from coral to ebony, but look especially striking teamed with midnight blue, electric green, vivid orange or bold lilac eye shadow and eyeliner.

If you're wearing a light blue dress, I think you could pull off a darker blue in the eyes which would probably be nice with just minimal lips and bronzer for the cheeks. I wouldn't go too dark on the eyes though as it would look weird with a light blue dress. Otherwise maybe a sliver sheen shadow would be nice if you wanted to do red lips for v-day :) which would go nice with prown hair. I was looking on youtube too yesterday for make up ideas and they even have tutorials people have put up there showing you how to do makeup, which are really useful. So you could search like prom makeup etc.

Hair wise, I personally hate up do's. I think hair looks nice just down with loose curls in it.Hair and Makeup for V-Day School Dance??
If u have side bangs, you should get a cute flat clip and make a poof in your hair. (put it straight back %26gt;all of your bangs%26lt;) it would look really cute. Then you could scrunch the rest of your hair. Or you could straighten it really good.

Start with brown eyeliner (matches ur hair) and do that on top and bottom of ur eyes. Dark blue eyeshadow just above ur eyelid. Then light blue cream eyeshadow up ur whole eye. Very dark mascara and plaster it on thick!

Sparkley or shimmering blush or foundation so your glowing all night long!

Short high heels to add a little boost.

I suggest silver hoop earrings or dangley ones.

If no silver, diamonds are also a save. Even if they're fake, Claire's has really shiny ones very cheap!
i would curl your hair, maybe a princessy, half up half down look. with a little tiara. always looks good with curly short hair. and with makeup i would go browns and peachy colors, with your blue dress, thats enough color, skin tone colors will do the job!
