thanks!Homecoming? whats it like and stuff? nd hair nd makeup?
Homecoming dance is just a fun dance you can go with a date or with friends. I went with friends and it was a ton of fun. Any types of dresses can be worn to homecoming, but if you want to know you can go to www.macys.com and type 'dresses'. It will give you the choice of like homecoming, prom, party, and etc. Have fun.Homecoming? whats it like and stuff? nd hair nd makeup?
Each school is different. At my school you definitely have to wear a dress! A good length is to the knees or a little shorter. The dress should not have sleeves either. The dress should also be semi-formal, therefore not a sundress but also not a big, puffy prom dress.
Some girls get their hair done, but I didn't. You can do virtually anything you want with it. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it though.
Makeup would be sort of a natural look; like a clean face. You want to look fresh and pretty, so don't put on piles of sparkles.
For shoes you should wear about one inch heals. Don't go too high or you will look to dressed up, or too low and you will feel underdressed. Remember that you will be dancing so you want comfy shoes. Or you can just take your shoes off (in the coat-check) and dance barefoot, lots of girls do that at my school.
People can bring dates but I advise going with a group of friends. Usually it is cheaper to by two tickets verses one so pair up with a buddy to buy them. Also, people usually go out to eat after the dance or to a party so its good to be with friends.
I didn't go to the game, only the dance, but yes the band performs at halftime like every other game... that includes the colorguard.
Have fun!!!
Homecoming at my school is pretty big, but it's pretty casual too. After the football game, most people just head over to the dance in their spirit wear / school colors. I didn't know many people who wore dresses. And if they did, they definitely weren't too formal. Of course all the girls looked / tried to look cute, because that's how most girls are. Most of them anyway. All in all, it's pretty much how you want to look. Do your hair and make up cute and pick out a nice outfit.
I think it kind of just depends on the school and their traditions.
As for bringing a date; A lot of couples went together. Especially the jocks. But a lot of people went with their friends too.
You have plenty of time to plan for it. :)
