Hair and Makeup for tryouts?

How should I wear my hair and makeup for dance team tryouts? My hair has to be up... I was thinking a pony tail with a poof (bump) and curly...what do you think? and how should I wear my makeup?





I know they do not pick you based on your apperance but, I think it will help me get noticed and watched more by the judges.Hair and Makeup for tryouts?
i like your idea for the hair. and for the makeup you should keep it simple, mascara, liner, and blush. you dont want it to get all runny.

Definately its about appereance. You have to stand out and catch there eye! And you are dancing so it has to be realistic! And your makeup has to be dramatic ahha.. Ya so your hair. No offence but dont do the poof! It will bug you like crazy with spins and stuff. Go to the hair dresser and get her to do criss cross braids like they kinda go through each other and then pull the rest of your hair back and curl the pony tail. With this your hair is nice and tight and you know it wont fall out half way and it wont be in the way. And i dont really wanna go step by step with the makeup but make it noticable not like your everyday makeup. Look on you tube and type in makeup tutorials and it gives you a bunch or awsome ideas.. Have fun and smile :)

hair:


- loosely curled ponytail


- thin, neutral-colored headband





makeup:


- brown/black mascara


- tinted lip gloss


- a bit of bronzer along the cheek bones


- thin line of liquid eyeliner along top lid only


- a bit of gold/ metallic-brown eyeshadow ( based on your avatar :D )

The hair sound really cute, but usually they tell you to wear natural make up. I wouldnt over do it. Looking like a clown would definitely not be a good idea! Just go for natural, fresh looking makeup.
