How can I become a great punk/goth?? Please help :)?-makeup-clothes-hair advice?

Going to a friends 17th with the theme go as a punk/goth.





This won't be too hard or dif for most of my mates cause they already dress a lot like that but I really wana turn heads :P because I don't really dress like that.





I'm a slim blonde (layered medium length hair) and I'm willing to really get into it.





My friends might lend me some clothes otherwise I might go looking in the op shop. I also want to know what I can do with my hair, and makeup wise-pictures would be great!


Clothes suggestions welcome also.

i did this i got a skull cap with a black background and red and white skull i got a necklace with some awsome wings on it,i wor a black long sleeved shirt with a black green day shirt over it (i know green day isnt that metal but it was still cool) i wore my dogs chain and got some eyeliner i painted my finger nails black and red and bought a goth clipon earing.my friends thought it was awsome so i thought i would share it with you

if youre looking for tips on how to be punk or goth...you arent as cool as you think people will think you are if you look punk or goth. its a vicious cycle but didnt you feel the slightest like a douche asking this question?
