Prom is next saturday! help with makeup and hair.?

I want to get my makeup done profesionally, but my salon doesn't do it, so should I go to mac, sephora[sp?], or ulta. Also how much for each, like I think mac they suggest a min purchase of $30.


Is mac at macys? I know its at nordstram, but that's a bit far.


What color makeup should I have and hair style? My dress is bright red, with some gold in the neckline, its a halter with a low back, I have grayish blue eyes, pale skin, ash blonde hair that's a tad longer than my shoulder.Prom is next saturday! help with makeup and hair.?
If you have a sephora near you, they will do your makeup for you, provided you are at least buying something there. I went in there looking for some kind of concealer for red areas and they did a wonderful job and I ended up buying everything they used! If I were you, I think anyone with blue eyes look gorgeous with brown eyeshadow. Since there is gold in the neckline, it will still match okay. I would do like a light tan on the lid, then a darker brown in the crease of your eye, and sweep a gold shimmer under your eyebrow. As for your lips, something light pink and glossy is always classic. I LOVE covergirl wetslicks in ShimmerShell. As for the hair, any kind of updo would look classy. For getting your make up done at MAC, the minimum purchase is at least $50, and you also need to book an appointment. Some Macy's have a MAC counter, but it is not at all Macy's, I suggest you looking it up at maccosmetics.com. I think a classic smokey eye would look nice with your dress, but you can always consult it with however is doing your make up.
you can find local makeup artists in your area. my mom is actually a makeup artist, if you live in the chicago area. but anyways, yes MAC is fabulous and is always available for prom makeup. for hair i would have your salon do the hairstyle taylor swift wore in the love story music video! that is so pretty.
