1910 women's hair and makeup! HELP!?

I'm playing a rich 19 year old lady. Newly married, and going to the opera house. I have long blonde naturally wavy hair which comes down to about 2 inches under my armpit. How would you suggest I style my hair and makeup so that it is correct for the period?1910 women's hair and makeup! HELP!?
oh wow curl it with soft curls. maybe an updo.... french twist? with some curly pieces coming down. makeup.....soft but dark [er] lipstick with lipliner. lots of black mascara and eyeliner [again soft with the eyeliner.] no eyeliner/eyeshadow colors. blush is a yes. 1910 women's hair and makeup! HELP!?
The Marcel wave was still very popular and in 1910 women began cutting their hair short as a new sign of freedom from their corsettes and the beginning of a new trend for young ladies entering into the workforce.

In 1910 women put on their first make-up. One of the first inventors of the first trademark make-up was Helena Rubinstein. She invented the pink powder for a perfect teint. Also Elizabeth Arden was one of the inventors of the make-up of the future.

Also hair style changed. Before the wartime they carried long hair with curls and volume, but now they carried their hair with a stern parting.

Makeup was very expensive and only for the ladys of the society.

The end of wartime was the end of the lovely girl look. Now women wanted to look like exotic vamps. (So they said).

They styled their hair in a new look, called bouffant. They put black makeup on their eyes, and red lipstick on their lips. Also they had a lot of exotic accessoires.

It was the beginning of the silent films. The filmstars, the female ones of course, all had make-up on their faces and looked like exotic vamp. They were the idols for women from 1910 to 1919.

I'd say for inspiration definately think of the silent films. The women with the dark lips, and pale skin.

Ok, so you should definitely play up the waviness of your hair, possibly pinning it up so it looks shorter. As for your makeup, keep the complexion pale and smooth, light on the blush (but use some so you don't look dead), dark lips (not necessarily red, but like a plum or something) and simple eyes (little liner, skin-colored or light shadow).
